Beta 0.1 — concise terms for this early stage.
Bean Memoir is an experimental consumer beta. Features may be incomplete, inaccurate or change as we learn. Please keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.
You must be able to agree to these terms where you live. You are responsible for the information you provide, keeping your sign-in details secure and activity under your account.
You keep ownership of the photos, journal entries and coffee information you provide. You give Bean Memoir only the limited permission needed to store, process, display and transmit that content to operate and improve the beta for you. This permission ends when the content is deleted, except for brief technical backups or records we must retain by law. How photos are processed, stored and shown is described in the Beta privacy notice.
Label reading and web-assisted coffee information use AI and may be incomplete, outdated or wrong. Review extracted details and source links before relying on them. Your corrections remain more important than suggested information.
Coffee DNA, recommendations, reasons and Match scores are informational personalization features based on limited history. They are not scientific measurements or guarantees that you will enjoy a coffee.
Use Bean Memoir lawfully and respectfully. Do not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, upload unlawful or harmful content, or infringe another person's rights.
Bean Memoir owns the service, its branding, interface and software. These terms do not transfer those rights to you, and they do not give Bean Memoir ownership of your content.
We may change, pause or discontinue beta features, limit or suspend access, or reset beta data when reasonably needed for testing, safety or maintenance. We will try to give notice before a planned data reset, but continuous availability is not promised.
You may stop using the service or delete your account and data from Settings. We may suspend or end access for serious misuse, security risk or legal requirements. Account deletion cannot be undone.
Bean Memoir is provided as available during the beta, without promises that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for every purpose. To the extent allowed by law, Bean Memoir is not responsible for indirect losses arising from use of this experimental service. Nothing here limits rights that cannot legally be limited.
